WGBH Trustee David H. Koch May Deny Climate Change, but Cannot Deny N. Beacon Street Billboard

Forecast the Facts has purchased advertising space on a billboard across the street (corner N. Beacon and Market) from the WGBH megaplex, alerting the general public to the fact that billionaire right-wing political enabler David H. Koch, Executive Vice President of Koch Industries, is a trustee of the WGBH Educational Foundation.

The "in-your-face" advertising is part of Forecast the Facts' "Campaign for a Koch-Free WGBH"* ("Koch" rhymes with "coke", get it?)

Company Overview
Forecast the Facts is a grassroots community working to ensure Americans hear the truth about climate change: that temperatures are increasing, human activity is largely responsible, and that our world is already experiencing the effects. We do this by empowering everyday people to speak out in the face of misinformation and hold accountable those who mislead the public.

Forecast the Facts draws its name from its 2012 launch campaign, which focused on accountability for broadcast meteorologists, many of whom communicate climate and weather issues to thousands of viewers each night. We are continuing to work extensively on that issue, but are also expanding our efforts to push back against climate change denial wherever it occurs. We led a national campaign to call on corporations to pull their support from the Heartland Institute, a leading “think tank” in the effort to deny climate science. More recently, we've been challenging political leaders to end their climate silence, starting with President Barack Obama.

Forecast the Facts is a project of Citizen Engagement Laboratory.

I think it's time these nuts with the billboard got a life.

Time to grow up.

Account holders like "BD" would have some credibility if they identified themselves using a real name and photo.
